Adoptable Shelties
SHASTA
Shasta is a 7 year old sable male. His owner lost their home and they were not allowed to take him with them to live in an Apartment. He is of average size, loves people, is active, very playful, and likes other dogs.
BANDIT
Bandit is a 10 year old Male Sheltie. His previous owner had him shaved, but as we all know hair does grow, and soon he'll have a beautiful sheltie coat once again! He is in good health and is active. He is shy, but will warm up to those he knows. He loves to go for walks and is very good on the leash. He is good with other dogs once he gets used to them, but would probably do best with one dog. He is housebroken and well mannered. Bandit has a very sweet temperament and enjoys being petted and loved on. To the right home, Bandit will make a great companion!
GUY
Guy is a 7 year old oversized (approximately 18 inches at the shoulder) blue merle male sheltie. Guy is shy at first but warmes up nicely and is a real sweetheart. He loves to get on the couch with you and snuggle. He is fine with other dogs and would also do fine as an only dog.
CZAR
Czar is a very special sheltie. Ideally, the best home for him would be one where someone is home a lot. He is very very shy. He came into rescue about 6 months ago. He is 4-5 yrs old and when we got him he had never been socailized. He spent most of his 4-5 years in a filthy crate. He has been fostered by a trainer and she feels he is ready to go to the right home. He loves to play with one other dog, however does not do well with a group of dogs. Czar will bond to his new owner nicely, though takes his time with others. He loves being petted and loved on. He is not aggresive, just very shy and scared of new things.
DOROTHY
Dorothy is 8-9 years old and an average size, sable female. Like her namesake in THE WIZARD OF OZ, she is looking to find her way home. Rescued at the last minute from a kill shelter, this petite and adorable senior gal is full of love! She is not intimidated by anything and has a lot of spirit! She needs to lose some weight and work on mobility issues -- and weight loss will help with mobility. She boasts a glorious red coat. We think Dorothy is a treasure.
REMY
Remy is a 4 year old Tri-colored male Sheltie/Corgi mix with short legs and a long body. Remy is a very friendly and happy dog. He is on the heavier side, not overweight however, but has a stocky built like a corgi with a sheltie face. He loves to be close to you and loved on. Remy would do fine with other dogs.
